Smart Class
An advanced facility in the school is the smart class. The topics in all subjects for all classes in Cambridge School are presented before the students in visual screens by means of network which connects the digital class rooms and the knowledge centre. The topics are presented in animated forms accompanied by audio in the digital classes. These visuals of the topic impart a better understanding to the students, making teaching and learning much easier.
Computer Lab
The School has computer laboratories for students. It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. The school is equipped with a dedicated broadband Internet connection for enterprising students get a chance to be familiar with the Internet. They do comprehensive research for their projects and presentations.
The department has qualified committed teachers to teach different classes at different levels. The faculty members make continuous efforts to see that the students must get expertise in practical implementation of tools they have in their curriculum. The Information Technology curriculum has been planned in such a way that the students of classes I to IX will get exposure to various technologies and softwares. In the primary section, the students are trained to use basic softwares like Windows, MS-Office (Ms-Word, MS-PowerPoint, Ms-Excel etc.). Along with this, they get exposure to computer programming at elementary stage through the computer languages like LOGO and Q-Basic in order to improve their logical skills. The students are assessed on their practical skills over a regular time interval via projects and assignments given to them. In the higher classes the students have an option to learn advanced softwares which are the part of their curriculum. The Students get exposure to the latest Multimedia softwares like FLASH, Photoshop, Image-Ready etc. On the other hand to sharpen their logical and reasoning skills, they learn computer languages like Visual Basic, JAVA and C++.
Innovation Lab

Security
The school security officer is appointed by the local school district administration. The main purpose of making use of the services of these officers is to prevent crime, maintain order and discipline, take action against anyone who breaks the policies and rules of the school and detain students who violate the school property or cause problems in school related events. They will make sure that the rules and regulations are in place and are followed by the school. They will need to keep an eye on any miscreants and prevent any untoward law and order or criminal situations from developing in the school.
The roles and responsibilities of security officer:
- The officer must be efficient and resourceful enough to deal with any unlawful activities in the school in an efficient and quick manner before it escalates.
- They must be ready to build a good relationship with the students and to guide them on the right path.
- They should be fully aware of the rules and regulations and the policies of the school and should have the ability to analyze and investigate any pieces of evidence that they get.
- The officers should have the undergone the necessary training in preparing and preventing any crisis that develops in the schools and college campuses.
- They should have attended the necessary training program needed. They could face from the students, teachers, and the communities.
